Atlanta Housewives Lisa Wu Hartwell .vs. Keith Sweat: Battle for the Kids

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Lisa Wu Hartwell recently opened up about her custody battle with ex-husband Keith Sweat. Lisa said she really wants her two older boys (She appears on the show with husband, Ed Hartwell, and their 2-year-old E.J.) on the show. “If Keith has a hang-up about our sons being on TV, I would be fine with that. But Real Housewives is supposed to be a reality series, and the reality is that all the fans watching believe I only have one child,” Lisa told Star. Sweat, an R&B crooner known for ballads that are seemingly centered around begging, refuses to sign an agreement that would allow his sons – Justin and Jordan — to be on the reality show, now in its second season on Bravo.

Lisa said she could take care of that – by suing Sweat for full-time custody. “I’ve already been seeing [the children] four or five times a week, but now the time has come when I want to have them with me full-time,” she told Star. Sweat was awarded custody of the boys in 2003, with the judge, Cynthia D. Wright, saying that the children “lacked structure in their lives, due in substantial part to Mother’s numerous business ventures and frequent trips out of town… Mother has a history of spending money on herself excessively rather than providing for the children… There was some evidence at trial that Mother implicitly participated in robbing Father in the presence of the children.” The judge said the issues raised questions about Mother’s “maturity.”

In other words, the judge said “Something, Something, just ain’t’ right.” Wu said she filed an appeal after the verdict, but was intimidated about the process. “I’ve been afraid of the judicial system, but I’m finally taking the bull by the horns and trying to get my boys back again!” she said.

But is this just about the show? Lisa seems insistent that all her children (actually her whole clan was on a recent episode filmed in California) be on the show. Is this the beginning of a spin-off? Does she envision “The Wu Hartwell Show”?

Lisa said it’s not like that, but she’s just so certain that her boys would make for good television. “Jordan and Justin understand what the show involves, and they’d love to do it,” Lisa said. “I adore all three of my sons — and I believe they all have a rightful place on the show.” In October, Lisa will have the custody hearing in Atlanta. You can bet Sweat will be there. Beggin’.

Singer K. Michelle And Married Rapper, Pastor Mase’s Indecent Proposal - K. Michelle, the sexy R&B singer and associate of HiTz Committee, has claimed that rapper Mase, the former artist of Bad Boy Records who later joined the Ministry and became known as Pastor Dr. Mason Betha, tried to sleep with her after luring her to Atlanta by claiming he was interested in signing her on for her talent.

“..I had nothing but my son and music, and believed Mase to be my blessing .. All I can say is f*ck Mase. Mase.. Flew me 2 Atlanta becuz he said God said I was very talented,” K. Michelle started out. “On my life, when I got to Atlanta, he tried to have sex with me. I have no respect for this man,” wrote K. Michelle on her Twitter.

K. Michelle after claiming that Mase contacted her about her talent but ended up only being interested in sleeping with her, later states that the married Mase tried this on the first day and wanted to sign the paperwork in the car.
“Here I was thinking this was my big break and this devil tries to not only sleep with me the first day, he saw me, but he tries to make me sign paperwork in the car,” continued K. Michelle.

“I’m from Memphis, so I’m a product of my enviroment, and here you are a preacher and you are one of the fakest devils I know in this game. You can’t stop what God made hot! What the devil meant for my bad, God meant for my good.”

K. Michelle goes on later to claim that she’s not trying to “slander” Mase and it’s not in her to “make industry enemies” but she’s no one to hold back her expressions. “My outburst on Mase was not to slander his name, or make my label work overtime, or 2 make industry enemies, it was REAL true expression,” stated K. Michelle. She adds, “Im sorry I’m a product of my environment, and I won’t allow this industry to change that. I was [a] single mother without anything trying to sing and play the piano, I had nothing but my son and music, and believed Mase to be my blessing and he turned out 2 be the opposite. I 4give him but will never 4get that type [of] dissappointment! I do thank him becuz he made me a stronger ghetto survivor.”

What in the world is going on with Lil Wayne?! My goodness! I hope this is just a rumor. A Stripper that works for the LA men's club Spearmint Rhino has told a few of her co-workers that she has just learned that she is pregnant with Lil Wayne's baby. No pictures have been circulated as of yet, but it is said that she is "Drop Dead Gorgeous." The woman is said to be of East Indian decent. The supposedly baby mama told co-workers that she discussed the situation with Lil Wayne and he told her that he wants her to keep the baby.

Well, I do not know what is going on or if any of this is true, but I will follow the story and let you know. I guess Toya is writing her book and Lil Wayne is making a football and cheer leading team.

I know you have heard the rumors about Drake and Rihanna having a secret relationship. Well, Drake says that his and Rihanna's relationship is straight up professional. He says that the two have been spending so much time together because he has been trying to convince Rihanna to record a duet for his next album.


He says, "We're just really good friends. We have great conversations about music, and we're trying to figure out the perfect song we can collaborate on for my album. "I've only worked with one other female before (Mary J Blige). I hope that Rihanna is onboard, and I'm also looking to work with Sade."

I'm sorry. That's the place where I need to begin. My feeling of remorse. I ain't never written a blog before, so putting my thoughts down on paper is a challenge - however it's a challenge I must face. I can look a 250 pound linebacker in his eyes at the line of scrimmage and have no fear. But expressing myself when I know that there are millions of people who are so angry with me, and rightfully so, is a challenge unlike any other I have faced before.

What I did was horrendous. Awful. Inhumane. And I've no excuses for my actions. It makes my heart hurt now to think about what I've done. And I'm gonna be real honest, it took a while for me to get to this place.
Sitting in a prison cell didn't make me feel remorse. It was meeting so many animal lovers, speaking with them and looking them in their eyes. Staring at them. Looking so deep into their eyes that I began to feel their pain. Allowing that pain to enter into my body is when I started to understand how bad it really was. I have been trying hard to connect with people who feel this pain,because for my whole life I was disconnected from the suffering of animals. And you might say, "come on Mike, how could you do those things to those dogs?" And you're right...I
ask myself those questions every day. What kind of person does this? How does a human-being treat dogs or any animal with such pain and cruelty? And the hard part for me is the answer to these questions. Because the answer is ME. And I am trying so hard right now to become a better person, because who I was, I am ashamed of.

Cause see, my whole life has been numb. I was numb to the violence in my community...cause I saw it all the time, ever since I was a child. I mean, how does one grow up in a city that's nickname is Bad Newz? You can probably guess that from the jump, ya' know I've seen some bad things in my life. And football was the only way that I could escape. As a kid, I even used to go out fishing, and most of the times I wouldn't catch a darn thing, but just needed to get away from the chaos every once in a while. So, when the commissioner called my name as the #1 draft pick in the NFL - the first time a black quarterback had ever been chosen as the #1 pick, I thought my life was all good. But, what I didn't realize then, that I have begun to realize now, is that even though I had more money in my pocket, big cars and big houses, I was still numb. And when I say numb, I ain't talkin about not realizing the stuff that was going on around me, it was just like I was living life asleep. However, that is still no excuse for what I did. But let's not forget that there are still hundreds of thousands of young people growing in similar environments and seeing violence at a young age has severe consequences.

Now that I'm trying my best to wake up, I know I have a lot of work to do. And this isn't about trying to win a Super Bowl ring or a MVP trophy...this is about trying to save lives. I think back to when I use to play football and of course I use to see all those kids in the stands wearing #7 jerseys. And I would never want them to look up to the Michael Vick who did all of those terrible things to the dogs. I know where I need to do the most work is with all of the people around the world who continue to fight dogs. Let me be straight forward with y'all: What I did was wrong, and what you're doing is wrong. We must stop dog fighting, and I will do everything in my power to be a voice of someone who has finally woken up from the numbness, and knows just how bad it really is. My mission now is to be a source of service to save many animals. I am working very closely with The Humane Society and will be launching a new campaign shortly. If I had one hope in life, it would be that my actions will speak louder than my words. I know it will be hard to forgive me until you see my sincerity through my actions, but I promise you and I promise myself that that day will come.

Lastly, I accept this challenge, not of writing this blog, but of redeeming myself

Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant with her first child! Sources close to the reality show star confirm that it’s definitely with child, but is staying mum on who the dad is. Speaking with the girls earlier in the week about their upcoming show Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Khloe wouldn’t give details on whether her sister had gotten back together with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Khloe said at the time, "You're going to have to see on the show.”

Khloe Kardashian has come clean about her cocaine shame - after drugs were found in her handbag. The reality TV star insists the scandal is not what it seems - she found a vial of cocaine in her store's changing room and decided to put it in her bag for safe keeping, then she forgot all about it until she was confronted by her sisters.

The cocaine controversy features as a plotline on an upcoming episode of Kardashian's new reality TV show Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami. She tells Life & Style magazine, "My employee was picking up a pile of clothes that customers had tried on, and it (vial) fell out. She called me into the dressing room, and it was in a little glass vial. I was leaving the dressing room, and a lot of customers walked in. I didn’t know what to do, so I threw it in my purse. I was like, 'I’ll dispose of this in a second,' and I went to help them. Then I forgot about it.

"Nothing registered until after the fact. Now, talking about it, I’m like, 'OK, that would be really bad if I got (charged) with drug possession.' But I don’t do drugs. I don’t have drugs in my purse. I’m not someone who needs to do drugs... I’m too energetic and crazy as it is. I wouldn’t want to see me on drugs." The drug stash could have had major repercussions for Kardashian, she is currently on probation for a drink driving arrest in 2007.

Last Night, on the Wendy William's Show, Wendy reported that Simon signed a new contract for 45 million dollars. Which is a step up from the 36 million dollar contract he had previously. I guess the viewers on American Idol love Simon. He keeps the ratings up!

We have all heard about Paula Abdul. She did not accept her contract because they were trying to under pay her. I guess she doesn't bring in the ratings. I personally like Paula Abdul, but society likes controversy and bluntness. Simon obviously offers a lot of that. He is one of those people who seem to enjoy going against the grain. Wendy Williams feels Paula will be back to American Idol, but not making the money that she would like to make. However, it is being said that Paula Abdul maybe on Dancing With The Stars. I agree with Wendy Williams when she said, "It's not fair because Paula was a dancer."

Michael Jackson's Autopsy Report

Michael Jackson's death is being investigated by the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration). The DEA reported they are considering a Manslaughter charge against Jackson's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray.

A lethal amount of anaesthetic Propoful was found in his system, according to leaked autopsy results. Jackson died after taking a dangerously high dosage of the surgical painkiller. There were other drugs found in his system. Xanax for anxiety, was also found in his blood. A law enforcement source tells TMZ.com, "Propoful is front and center in terms of what Jackson died from."

Eminem the True Family Man

You know what, there are some extremely good men out there. Rap Artist don't get enough recognition when it comes to their family life. We always hear about battles they have with other artist and beefs. We rarely hear about how they hold their family front down. Many of them have stories about their lives and how they grew up. Many of them reverse those cycles of abuse and neglect. Eminem is one of those rappers.

TT Torrez of 92.1 radio station in Richmond, Virginia reports that, Eminem has custody of his daughter and his ex-wife's (Kim) twin sister's daughter. He supports Kim's other baby by another man financially and paid for Proof's (D12) funeral and $50,000 gold casket. Eminem also gives monthly allowances to Proof's wife and mother that he left behind.

Thanks Eminem for being a positive role model to men. We need role models like you who step up to responsibilities even when you don't have to. He didn't even brag about it, he just handled his business.

Brisco Robbed at Gun Point!!!

Rapper Brisco was robbed at gunpoint last week in a Miami barbershop.

According to the Miami Herald, the robbers made off with the Florida rapper’s Range Rover and jewelry. But contrary to previous reports, Brisco denies being pistol-whipped.

““Contrary to some reports, I was not assaulted in the robbery that took place yesterday,” Brisco said in a statement to XXLMag.com, via his representative. “It was a random robbery of a barbershop I was in and it really is just a case of me being in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

The Herald reports that four men entered the barbershop midday last Wednesday (July 29), three of whom brandishing handguns. The men demanded Brisco’s car keys and more than $35,000 in jewelry—including a yellow-gold diamond watch and bracelet, and a chain. They also took a Louis Vuitton wallet and more that $1,000 in cash.

Three shots were fired, but no one was struck.

Police recovered the abandoned Range Rover about a mile away, yet the burglars remain at large.

US Senate Confirms Sonia Sotomayor as First Latina Supreme Court Justice

Judge Sonia Sotomayor, who rose from the housing projects of the Bronx to the top of the legal profession, made history today when the Senate confirmed her to become the nation's first Hispanic Supreme Court justice.

Sotomayor, a 55-year-old federal appeals court judge, will be the 111th person to sit on the high court and the third female justice. Sotomayor is also the first Democratic nominee to the court in 15 years and will be sworn in at the Supreme Court by Chief Justice John Roberts on Saturday. President Obama, who selected Sotomayor on May 26, said he was "deeply gratified" by the Senate vote. "This is a wonderful day for Judge Sotomayor and her family, but I also think it's a wonderful day for America," Obama said at the White House.

I think that this choice is a good thing if not for anything else to further convince the world and the rest of the US that we are multi cultural and colored and that we are no longer running away from it. We await Judge Sotomayor’s future rulings and will leave it to history to judge her. Today I say to the President, Gracias for once again reminding people that things are changing and sometimes for the better.

Joe Jackson Relinquishes Rights to Grand Children! Read the Letter!!

Michael Jackson's father Joe has signed a legal document promising not to raise his grandchildren – as per his late son's apparent wishes.
Joe states that he consents to wife, Katherine, being the guardian of "my grandchildren Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, and Prince Michael Jackson, II".


The papers state that, while he will visit the kids, he agrees he will not be the one making the decisions about their upbringing.

"I have had a close family relationship with these grandchildren since their birth," Joe says in the court declaration filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

"I do visit the family residence from time to time and will continue to do so, however I will not be involved in raising the children... I understand that all decision-making authority regarding the children will rest with Katherine Jackson... Katherine Jackson is a wonderful caretaker and guardian, and has done an excellent job raising our children and other grandchildren."

Jackson's mother Katherine was named the children's permanent guardian during the brief court hearing on Monday.

It's claimed the Jackson family feared Joe - who has been accused of violence against his own children, including Michael - may have jeopardised Katherine's chances of being awarded custody had he insisted on playing a significant role in the siblings' upbringing.

The singer's will named his mother as the children's guardian in the event of his death. His father wasn't mentioned.

Leon Desmond Barrett has been arrested and is now behind bars. He has been charged for allegedly sending dozens of threatening letters between 2006 and 2009 to Beyonce, Jay Z, and football player Jerome Bettis. A complaint was filed yesterday, August 5, 2009.

The letters reportedly contained promises of violence against all three stars. Barrett denies all allegations.

Oprah and her production company, Harpo, are being sued for 1.2 trillion dollars by Author Damon Lloyd Goffe. He says Oprah allegedly stole material from his written work titled A Tome of Poetry and published it under Pieces of my Soul. Goffe claims Oprah admitted to stealing the material and sold over 650 million editions at $20 a copy. Therefore, he is entitled to 1.2 trillion dollars.

Halle Berry doesn't believe she will be with her partner forever. The twice-divorced actress - who has a 15-month-old daughter, Nahla, with model Gabriel Aubry - says her previous bad relationship experiences made her vow never to walk down the aisle again. She said: "I'm much clearer about what a relationship is, which is why I will never marry again. Gabriel and I have a great partnership and a lovely daughter. Dr. Phil accused of Sexual Abuse

A 44-year-old mom named Sara Morrison claims that Dr. Phil fondled and sexually abused her when she was a college sophomore who saw him as a patient in 1984. But in a new interview, she says the years have brought forgiveness and even sympathy.

Sara Morrison is speaking out, divulging sickening details of sexual abuse.

“I suffered from low self-esteem, and I was depressed, lonely and suicidal,” recalled Sara. “He wanted to see me three or four times a week - as a patient.”

While treating her that summer, Dr. Phil did nothing improper. (The next summer, she continued to see him as a therapist and also worked for him as an intern).

“The first day I showed up for work, Phil had his hands all over me,” she recalled.

“Phil would pull me down to sit in his lap while he talked on the phone to patients, other doctors, even his wife! He’d be running his hand up and down the inside of my thigh all the way up to my panties.”

Fat Joe has responded to accusations made by the late Big Pun's wife Liza Rios, in which she claims she has not been paid Pun's fair share of earnings. Joey gave an account of the financial backing he provided to Pun's wife and promised he had not made any profits from the rapper's music since his death.

"Immediately after Puns death I gave Liza Rios the whole advance of the Endangered Species album, NO ONE but Liza made a dollar off that album. I also gave her the total advance from the publishing company that was due to Big Pun...I've never made a dollar off Big Pun since his passing. This was hundreds of thousands of dollars of frivolous spending, after the second payoff I washed my hands. Since then we have been through 6 lawyers, harassment on various radio stations and online mediums every time she needs more money. In these economic times we as parents need to be resilient and do what it takes to provide for our own families."

Rios' interview landed online earlier this week and explained why her kids were living in a shelter and how her finances quickly diminished after Pun died. "After Pun passed I didn't receive a lot of money," Rios said in an interview. "I received some money from publishing but I received exactly $160,000 and something of publishing...The house I was paying mortgage for was my husband's, wasn't paid out, the five years I was living there before I sold it, I spent over $120,000 just on mortgage. Then you got the kids, the food, the clothes, legal fees and when there's no money coming in, it's just money coming out."

Someone noticed he was occasionally replacing words that would have a "c" in them with a "k." His last message was, "ok people i love all of my fans im sorry but this will be my last tweet you know why but it is what it is love all an tke Care."

Floyd Mayweather is preparing for his September 19th return bout against Juan Manuel Marquez. He is also having it out with Rick Ross.

Rick Ross questioned Mayweather's income saying, "Mayweather money looking funny in the light." In return, Mayweather says Rick Ross is fake and his style is borrowed from others. Mayweather said to allhiphop.com, "Cassidy already did I'm a Hustla. Freeway already came out with the beard look. I don't think he's making $20-$30 million everytime he performs. Mayweather grossed $50 million in 2007.

Mayweather continues by saying, "His stats and credentials don't match. One minute he says he wasn't a CO or a cop, next min he is. .....If I need someone arrested, I'll call him."

Change Your Thinking!


We are in a day and age where our thinking needs to change. We need to break cycles in our families and communities. We have a human tendency to repeat our mistakes. It is easier to continue to doing the same thing over and over again. We have a tendency to repeat the actions of our ancestors and relatives. We wonder why things don't work out. It is easier to copy an action than it is to do something different. It is hard for some people to make change and accept change. My aunt said to me once that "It is better to do the things that are harder to do. Those are usually the things that give the better results." We have to do things differently and think differently in order to get a different outcome. The people that made a difference in history did things differently. They thought outside of the box.

There are many ways to change our thinking. Reading different material. Listening to things that motivate us. Watching things that are along the path of where we are trying to go. Always learning a new way of things. Researching different subjects, instead of doing things the way we think they are to be done. Surrounding ourselves around individuals and groups that are doing or have already done what we want to accomplish. These different examples can apply to all areas of our live, whether it be handling our emotions, career changes or finding a job, relationships, parenting, business, education, past abuse etc.

Let's make a vow to change our thinking and actions. We don't have to wait for the new year to make a change. It only delays our success and new beginnings when we wait and procrastinate.

Chris Brown Sentence Delayed. Rihanna Wants Less Restrictions!

Chris Brown's sentencing has been postponed until August 27, 2009. The delay is to see how detailed his sentence would be.

Rihanna requested that the restrictions keeping Chris Brown away from her to be less restricted. She wants to be able to be near her boo without any discrepancies.

Chris Brown still get love and support from fans and celebrity friends. Vivica Fox was on the Wendy Williams show saying that she still loves Chris and his music. Many people feel that this is a mistake that he will never make again.

A Man Opens Fire in Pittsburgh Health Club!!!

A man walked into a Health Club in Pittsburgh, turned off the light, and shot customers and then killed himself. Three women are dead. Police said that he had a lot of ammo, but stopped shooting and then killed himself. CNN goes on to say that he had a lot of anger toward women. It is said that he stepped outside and made a phone call and then came back in and opened fire. His name was George and it is being said that he had no intended target. Neighbors say that they knew something was up with him. Others were shocked because he was a clean cut guy with a good job. He is being called a mass killer and he a classic psychopath that blames everyone else. Reporters on CNN say that he had a victim mentality.

George had a blog and in his blog he says, "30 million women rejected me." He has not had sex for twenty years. Kind of scary! A sex expert said on CNN that a gun is viewed as a sex organ. Hunh? She said that people like George would use a gun on women to take out his aggression.

This is funny. Mary Anderson filed a law suit last week against Method Man. Now here is the story. Mary Anderson says that after a show in Texas, she pulled out her pay stub and asked Method Man for his autograph. She says that Method Man "pulled out an air gun and began firing pellets." She said that she was hit at least six times. She is suing for "unspecified damages." A rep for method Man had no comment.

That is so funny. He pulled out an air gun. Hahahaha! He was "lifted." That is the only way I can explain it. He thought the whole thing was gonna be funny as s****. It probably was, until he got sued. Wow! An air gun. Hahahahahaah!

Fight on real Chance of Love 2!!!!!!

August 3 rd was the premiere show of Real Chance of Love 2: back in the Saddle. The girls don't look as pretty as the first show. There are a couple that are hot and the rest are not. Why do these grown a** women go on a show to be renamed something stupid and sleazy. I don't know. They must get a thrill out of it and their faces on t.v.

Anyway, here are a few of the names: Show Me had a bad tan. She was so tanned that she was orange. Real said that she had an orange suit on (Hilarious). Chance had to correct him by saying it was her skin. So sad. Then there was Freckles. The only reason they named her Freckles was because they didn't want to offend her by calling her something else. Then there's Ribbon I forgot why they called her Ribbon. Maybe it was because she kept a skinny black ribbon around her neck. Was it to hide an atoms apple? I don't know, but Ribbon seemed a bit crazy. She seemed like she was on something. A bit scary. Vegas put me in the mind frame of that cartoon Bobby's World. Remember the mother that said, "Don't you know" all the time. That is how Vegas talked. Vegas was an instigator. She continuously called everyone a man. Well, she messed with the wrong girl when she told Show Me that she looked like a man. Show Me jumped on her and punched her in her head over and over and over and over and over again. Can we say violent? "Why can't we all just get along?" sadly to say they both were automatically eliminated off of the show. Show Me - for fighting and Vegas - for provoking in the second degree. The Stallionaires have spoken. (Hilarious)

Corn Fed says Real is a B****!

Corn Fed states that real broke up with her. She says that after the show they had a good relationship over the phone. She even went to visit him on Labor Day and stayed for five days getting to know the family. They even talked about her moving to his home town. When she returned home, the phone calls were different. Corn Fed says Real acted funny.

She then got word that he was talking to some of the girls that were on the first Real Chance of Love. She found out that he had invited some of the girls to his home, too. Then he started telling her that he doesn't think she could handle his life style and broke up with her.

Live with DJ Kasino Monday Night!!!

Wow!! We had a blast on Monday! The chat room was popping and so was the music! DJ Kasino started the spinning off and rotated with his guest DJ Skarp who threw in his reggae flava. Together they rocked the station. Interesting responses flooded the chat room after DJ Kasino asked, "Let me know how ya'll feel about Black Men in America that have criminal backgrounds? Katherine Jackson speaks out for the First Time

Kathrine Jackson called in to Geraldo and spoke for the first time. Her statement:

"My son is dead and I don't think he just died of natural causes. He's too young. Something happened."

She also denied that Joe Jackson is banned from their Encino home and said Michael's children are doing fine.

Chris Brown on Larry King Live

Word is, Larry King is Chris Brown's first choice to explain the night he assaulted Rihanna and to apologize to her once again. It is said that Chris wants to go on Larry King live because he will be able to get his apology across without facing brutal questioning. No official confirmation of his appearance has been confirmed, yet.

Last month, Chris made an apology video that was posted on his website and said,

"I felt it was time you heard directly from me that Iam sorry.....I have told Rihanna countless times, and I a telling you today that i am truly truly sorry and I wasn't able to handle the situation both differently and better.

Well, I feel that he is a talented artist. I hope that Chris Brown has changed his stripes and I forgive him. Then again, I am not the one that got my behind whipped. What do you think?
